Early in his career, Florian Lanzer founded his own e-commerce company, which he also managed as CEO. In 2014, he joined the management consultancy venture.idea, where he is still a partner today. venture.idea has since been recognized by WirtschaftsWoche as Germany's best consultancy for strategy (2019) and for innovation & growth (2018).

In addition to his work as a consultant, he shares his well-founded, practice-proven expertise as a bestselling author, lecturer, and Co-Director of the Center for Corporate Innovation at the Management Institute St. Gallen (SGMI).
