At the time of the project, one of the goals of the energy company innogy was to generate growth through new, innovative business areas. The task of venture.idea was to support the company in building new business models in the field of "Machine Economy", especially at the interface of blockchain technology with energy and new mobility.

The project started with a comprehensive analysis phase in which both the client's internal circumstances (critical factors of the business model), relevant external developments (trends, technologies, etc.) and specific technology application scenarios / use cases were aggregated, analyzed and synthesized. Based on this information venture.idea developed new, tailor-made business models for the field of "Machine Economy". For their successful implementation, a comprehensive corporate partnering strategy was developed. This was followed by support for the establishment and development of a spin-off.

At the end of the project, the client had a number of well-fitting, promising business models and first implemented blockchain mobility projects, which eventually led to the corporate startup "MotionWerk" and the foundation "Share & Charge".
